On a cool summer evening before the hangars are closed, a visiting biplane basks in the waning twilight as the moon rises over Hangar No. 2. at Antique Airfield.
Antique Airfield, near Blakesburg, Iowa, is considered to be a "Field of Dreams" by the owners, pilots and lovers of antique and classic aircraft the world over. Home to the Antique Airplane Association and the Air Power Museum, Antique Airfield replicates a typical Midwestern airport of the 1920's and 30's with it's grass runways, metal hangars and nostalgic feeling.
